The story behind the study…

A few weeks after my daughter was born Eric asked, “Since you have extra time now, is there anything you want to study and meditate on?” Once I finished insisting that I did not have extra time with a newborn, I set about using that time to understand the woman described at the end of Proverbs 31.

She seemed to hold the mystery of how my daily activities could be used by God to do great things for His kingdom. And yet at every turn she surprised me. I did not understand her. As I held my precious baby girl those early weeks I wondered, “How can I point her towards this ideal if I don’t understand it?” And my journey towards becoming and raising a valiant woman began.
